Aircraft Embraer KC-390
Location Gavião Peixoto-Embraer Unidade Airport, SP, Brazil
Fatalities Nil
Description The aircraft run off the runway during a ground test and suffered extensive damage to the landing gear as well as damage to the structure of the fuselage. This same aircraft suffered an incident on 17 October 2017 when it had an uncommanded extremely rapid descent of 4500 ft/min from 20000 ft to 3100 ft.

Location 2 km (1.3 miles) NW of Clonbullogue Aerodrome, Ireland
Fatalities 2
Description The aircraft crashed into a bog and woodland terrain after a successful skydiving jump by 16 of the occupants onboard. The two remaining occupants onboard were killed on impact.

Location Istanbul-Atatürk International Airport (IST), Turkey

Description An Asiana Airlines Airbus A330-323 and a Turkish Airlines Airbus A321-231 suffered substantial damage in a ground contact accident. The Airbus A321 had stopped about 30 metres before the intended parking position at the gate. At the same time the Airbus A330 had commenced taxiing and as it past the A321, the right-hand wing tip impacted the vertical stabiliser of the stopped aircraft. The A321’s vertical stabiliser was knocked over entirely and the A330’s wing tip sustained serious damage.

Description The aircraft crashed into terrain and caught on fire. It is thought that the aircraft was being used by drug traffickers who had changed the aircraft’s ID. There have been multiple similar cases in 2018. In the remains of the aircraft were at least eight drums of fuel that were being transported.

Description The aircraft crashed into a mountainside at an altitude of 12,800 feet. Both crew members were killed. The aircraft was on a domestic cargo flight.

Aircraft Boeing 737-200
Location 2 km SE of Havana-José Martí International Airport (HAV), Cuba
Fatalities 112
Description The aircraft crashed shortly after take-off. It came down in vegetation near a railway outside the airport, broke up and burst into flames. Three passengers survived the accident but two died in the following days.

Location Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport (YTY), China

Description The aircraft run off the runway during a training flight, crossed a concrete turning pad and continued across grass on the right side of the runway, where it came to rest. During the ground slide, the main undercarriage separated, and the aircraft sustained damage to the wings.

Description The aircraft was consumed by fire after it crashed. The pilot survived the accident.

Location Tegucigalpa-Toncontin Airport (TGU), Honduras
Fatalities Nil
Description A Gulfstream G200 Galaxy corporate jet suffered a runway excursion after landing on runway 02 at Tegucigalpa-Toncontin Airport, Honduras. The aircraft went down a slope and came to rest across a road. The fuselage broke in two, immediately forward of the wing.

Location Saltillo-Plan de Guadalupe International Airport (SLW), Mexico
Fatalities Nil
Description The aircraft suffered a runway excursion during take-off. The right-hand main landing gear collapsed, and the aircraft came to rest 600 m past the beginning of the runway.

Location Kamonia Airstrip, Democratic Republic of Congo
Fatalities Nil
Description The aircraft was involved in an accident on take-off from a remote airstrip and came to rest inverted. The two crew members and three passengers sustained minor injuries.
